Women in the Early Church – Inside and Out
March 30 & April 6, 2025
Class Description
When we think of early Christianity and the people who comprise its beginnings, we, of course, think of Jesus, Paul, Peter and the rest of “The Twelve.” But what about the women? Sometimes we hear about Jesus’s mother and Mary Magdalene, but how often do we hear about Chloe or Junia or Thecla? Together we will explore women in the early church both within and outside of the New Testament Canon.
