Christian Nationalism: What is It and Why Does It Matter?

March 29, 2026

Class Description

In this session, we will learn the history of Christian Nationalism in the U.S., focusing on the early shifts in merging church and government in the 1950s through the rise of the Religious Right, to the post-2016 mainstream embrace of an explicit convergence of one form of Christianity in U.S. politics. We will explore the trends and possible paths forward.
