Critical Race Theory in Context, for Change
December 7 & 14, 2025

Class Description
These sessions discuss critical race theory in its intellectual and historical contexts, as well as in its practical significance for our moment. Drawing on the history of thought and using examples of contemporary thinkers like George Yancy, Mariana Ortega, Boram Jeong, and others, participants understand critical race theory as a deep bench of resources intended to drive social change, and to challenge its status as an extremist buzzword.
